About the Conference

A biennial international meeting place for economics and business research.

The University of Dubrovnik, Faculty of Economics and Business wishes to cordially invite you to participate in the Dubrovnik International Economic Meeting (DIEM) — a biennial scientific conference bringing together economists, researchers and professionals from around the world.

DIEM was established in 2013 and has since grown into a recognised international forum for the presentation of research results, welcoming theoretical contributions, empirical papers and innovative applications across economics and related disciplines. The Conference places particular emphasis on global challenges, crisis management and sustainable development, and is committed to giving young researchers maximum opportunity to present their work.

We would like to attract and invite professionals and researchers from the field of economics and other relevant fields, who are aware of the practical and theoretical problems of the modern economy, to participate and contribute to solving these problems through presentations, working papers and panels.

The Conference will be held in a hybrid format, allowing participants to attend either onsite or online, according to their preference. In addition to the regular conference programme, workshops will be organised for all participants, providing further opportunities for interaction, knowledge exchange and practical engagement with selected topics.

We sincerely look forward to your participation!
