Panel Croatia: Start-up Nation is being held as a part of the EU project “Start-up Nation: Croatian Thematic Network for the Development of Entrepreneurship and Self-employment”.

The project with total value of HRK 2.934.053,36 co-funded by the European Social Fund, Operational Programme Efficient Human Resources 2014 – 2020, contributes to development of public and civil sector offering high quality support for transfer of needs within the society and advocating improvement of public policies in social and economic development. Project co-ordinator is the association GTF – Initiative for Sustainable Growth and the partners are Lika-Senj County and University of Dubrovnik as representatives of the public and academic sector as well as civil society organisations: DEŠA Dubrovnik - Regional Centre for Community Building and Civil Society Development, HUB 385, Start-up association for encouraging youth entrepreneurship and employment, LAG Srijem, Croatian Association of Business Women Krug, Croatian County Association and Association of Persons with Disabilities “A Better Tomorrow” of Koprivnica.

The project aims to encourage building of high quality multi-sector co-operation among organisations of the civil society, public and academic sector contributing to a balanced social and economic development in Croatian economy.
